This is a graphite drawing I did acouple of years ago of Charlie, grandson number 3. I think you can see the improvement I have made when you compare with the drawing of Jack.
This is a graphite I did of my grandson for an art show. It is actually on white paper. Unfortunately my scanner wouldn't pick up the softer tones, so I had to photograph it and it turned out blue.
I have always been interested in art in any form, but having raised 3 kids plus working never really did anything with it until around 4 years ago when I retired and started to do decorative painting with a great teacher. Not only have I learned to paint this technique but other mediums with the encouragement from this lovely lady.
Field trip to Montsalvat was a great way to improve my en plein air painting and also gave an opportunity to increase my ref photos. A very enjoyable day.
